Our purpose is to have communities (i.e., homes, schools, and businesses) make principles like courage, justice, integrity, and compassion matter more than people or circumstances.
Imagine a world where hatred like prejudices, inequality, and discrimination finally end because principles are more important than arbitrary standards like a person’s appearance, mannerisms, beliefs, or a given circumstance.

The best connection to the POP Movement (i.e., to get updates about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, or other information) is to become a POP Member. As a member you will get exclusive access to information, resources, and support.
Absolutely. In our efforts to make principles like kindness, courage, and integrity contagious we offer a variety of incentive for principally-based behaviors.
Yes, of course you should be concerned with people — with everyone — that’s the point. Principles over People does not mean people don’t matter. It means that you are committed to a standard that treats everyone the same regardless of who they are, what they believe, or where they have come from. Ultimately the fair treatment of every person is our goal; and, this can only happen when we act the same way to everyone.
This is a great question! Right now, our focus is growing POP Membership. We believe the more members we have, the quicker we can get our message that principles matter into homes, schools, and businesses and end the existing tension, anger, and hate in society. Every dollar we have is spent on encouraging others to put politics and popularity aside and do what’s right – make principles matter.
George Washington is widely regarded as a moral leader. He also engaged in deception. He willingly lied to his adversaries as well as his own troops about his intentions and resources. He also held slaves and had them work in his plantations. Today, employees are obligated to keep trade information secrets instead of having the liberty of sharing it with anyone. Soldiers are often ordered to kill in order to protect. Wisdom is a principle for a reason. We make the wisest decision we can until we know better, then we focus on doing better.
There are eleven core principles that we practice:
1. Wisdom
2. Integrity
3. Hard-Work
4. Gratitude
5. Love
6. Self-Control
7. Justice
8. Humility
9. Optimism
10. Courage
11. Liberty
